About the Role

 

We are seeking expressions of interest for accredited (ideally) and enthusiastic Soccer coaches to contribute to our inclusive and dynamic school Soccer program. 

 

The Soccer program aims to provide training sessions that emphasize fun and participation, enhance skill development through small-sided games and further advance a player’s ability to make decisions and to work cooperatively on and off the field.

 

These coaching roles will be overseen by the Technical Development Coach who will lead an ongoing program of coach development for all coaches involved.

 

The coach is required to organise and deliver training sessions, manage and coach Saturday morning matches and carry out some administrative tasks, such as writing match reports and compiling player/team data throughout the season.

 

Coaches must be available for all training sessions and matches (5 hours minimum):

  • 2 x Training sessions per week (3.45pm – 5.15pm – 3 hours per week)
  • 1 x Saturday morning Match per week (between 7.45am and 11.30am - KO times vary - 2 hours per week).

About you:

 

Successful applicants will be passionate and knowledgeable coaches, who are capable of creating environments for all players to learn, develop and succeed.

 

Criteria

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience in Soccer coaching; particularly working with junior players in a school.
  • Ideally a minimum of a C level licence coaching accreditation.
  • Game focused approach to training - developing player skills through small-sided games.
  • DCSI Clearance and current Senior First Aid accreditation or willingness to obtain them (school will assist with this process).
