Professional Growth Coaches

About the position

 

Professional Development Coaches are integral to the growth of learning and teaching at St Peter’s College. They will work closely with and report directly to the Head of Professional Growth and will guide up to twelve self-selected colleagues in articulating and invigorating these teachers’ pedagogical practice; the team’s ultimate goal is to activate and grow student learning. Professional Development Coaches will meet formally, at least twice a term, with these teachers in order to further their chosen professional goals. Professional Development Coaches’ work will be supported by an online system designed to articulate and celebrate this growth.

 

As the successful applicant you will have:

  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and sustain strong interpersonal relationships;
  • High level communication skills and active listening skills;
  • Experience working collaboratively with a range of teachers across various disciplines; and
  • a willingness to support the School’s Values and Anglican ethos.
