Coordinator - Diverse Learning Needs
5 year contract to commence January 2021

 About the position

This is an influential leadership position within our Learning & Teaching team that is responsible for leading a schoolwide change for differentiation. Working directly with Head of Faculties and teachers you will be leading the implementation of differentiated instruction in their academically diverse classrooms.


Other responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with classroom teachers about curriculum differentiation and strategies to ensure the individual needs of each students with diverse learning needs (including our highly able learners and students with a learning disability/difficulty) are met;
  • assisting with student voice during meetings regarding behaviour and academics;
  • establishing the plans, structures and processes for developing teacher expertise; and
  • reviewing and analysing student data identified to provide expert advice for students with Diverse Learning Needs.


As the successful applicant you will:

  • Be an exceptional Educator with a passion for learning;
  • possess expert knowledge of the demands of curriculum differentiation at each stage of the teaching and learning cycle; and
  • be an effective communicator having the ability to build trusted relationships with school leaders, teachers, operational staff, parents and students.
