About the position
St Peter's College is seeking expressions of interest for Saints Extra Activities (SEA) Facilitators to join our team in the Junior School in Term 1, 2022.
SEA Facilitators will work collaboratively with the SEA Coordinator to implement and oversee a program/activity to ensure that the wellbeing, technical and skill development of students' is enhanced. Facilitators will also have the opportunity to plan programs for nominated activities to achieve short and long-term outcomes.
During term time, SEA programs/activities run from 2.30pm - 4.30pm and/or 4.00pm - 6.00pm, 1-2 nights of the week. School holiday work may be required.
Expressions of interest are being sought in the following areas:
- Touch Rugby
- Film School
- Podcast Club
- Animal Care
- NEW PROGRAMS - any activity you could bring to the program to build and enhance student's development.
If you have experience/skills in one or more of the following areas, we would love to hear from you!
This is a great opportunity to gain experience working with Junior School students, imparting your knowledge to upskill and inspire the next generation.
Successful candidates will:
- Have a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
- Have a current South Australian Working with Children Check.
- Possess a Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse, and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) Certificate.
- Be energetic, enthusiastic, friendly, passionate and motivated.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
